Here are all temperature control appliances that are classified as medical devices according to the Medical Device Directive for Clinic & Pharmacy.
Storing sensitive sensors in a climate chamber with a maximum temperature deviation of 0.2 K? Reducing your process times during vacuum drying to an optimum? Ensuring interruption-free long-term testing? Running experiments with defined air exchange rates? Our industrial applications special introduces suitable appliances as well as case studies.
It is our hard-lined commitment to quality that has made Memmert a reliable partner in the medical sector and medical research industry ever since the company’s founding in 1947. Of course we are DIN EN ISO 13 485 certified since many years. This medical applications special introduces suitable appliances as well as case studies.
It is our passion for details that determines the outstanding quality of our temperature control appliances. And due our unconditional focus on the requirements of the customers Memmert appliances have been regulars in the labs of the pharmaceutical industry and life sciences for decades now. You’ll find corresponding case studies and appliances on this page.
We are dedicated to good taste. In order to ensure the unrivalled reliability and precision of Memmert incubators, ovens and climate chambers we develop and manufacture all vital components ourselves. Read more on Memmert’s solutions for the food and beverage industry on our special application page.
Memmert is not only a manufacturer of laboratory equipment, but a family business with a long history, a socially responsible employer and a reliable partner.
There are many good reasons to opt for a Memmert heating oven, incubator or climate chamber. The 5 most important from intuitive operation to personal after sales service are listed here.
Memmert custom design takes care of modifications or develops customized solutions. In the TechLab test runs for special applications can be conducted in Memmert ovens, incubators or climate cabinets.
Innovative heating, cooling and operation: take a look behind the scenes in the Memmert technologies topic area.
It goes without saying that every climate chamber has a climate defined by temperature and humidity. However, Memmert climate chambers provide extra reliability during stability testing, climate testing or conditioning and are perfectly designed for the simulation of environmental conditions. In compliance with standards. Reproducible. Economical.
In each Memmert climate chamber, temperature and humidity are distributed homogenously and stably over the entire test period. Each Memmert climate chamber meets the strict requirements of DIN 12880:2007-05 and has a maximum number of safety functions as well as various possibilities for programming and documentation. Each Memmert climate chamber is 100% AtmoSAFE.
A climate chamber is used for a variety of applications.
For heating, the chamber load is exposed to defined temperatures at atmospheric pressure within a climate chamber. Thermal energy is transferred by convection and radiation to the chamber load. In the case of cooling, on the other hand, the heat is extracted from the chamber load and released to the environment outside the climate chamber via the cooling system (Peltier-cooling in the Memmert constant climate chamber HPP, compressor-cooling in the Memmert climate chamber ICHeco and in the Memmert climate test chamber CTC).
The heating system of a Memmert climate chamber can be programmed according to respective requirements with regard to energy efficiency, heating-up times, quiet running or low vibration. The energy-efficient, low-vibration and quiet running climate chamber HPP is suitable for climate tests with test temperatures close to the ambient temperature due to the Peltier technology which is used for both heating and cooling. The climate chamber ICHeco cools again with conventional compressor technology and convinces with excellent values for uniformity of temperature and humidity. The temperature test chamber TTC /climatic test chamber CTC also cools via a compressor and is primarily designed for tests in an alternating climate.

Alongside CAD, computer projection and augmented reality, car designers still use a very traditional method to bring their designs to life. Clay, an industrial plasticine, is heated and stored in a precise and thermally safe clay oven, producing life-size models.
